Speciality training

The RPC is empowered to offer speciality training leading to qualification as a physician for psychiatry and psychotherapy; in addition, components for the specialist physician for psychotherapeutic medicine as well as the medical supplementary titles in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis can be obtained. In the psychotherapeutic training for psychologists and physicians the RPC works together with the Tübingen Academy for Behaviour Therapy (contact person: Dr. Watzl), the Institute for Psychoanalysis Zurich-Kreuzlingen (contact person: PD Dr. Hoffmann), and the Konstanz Circle for Speciality Training. 
Comprehensive speciality training beyond the individual professional groups is organised by PD Dr. Klaus Hoffmann, chief physician of the forensic psychiatry and psychotherapy department, and Dr. Hans Watzl, the research ward of the University of Konstanz.

The annual programme is set up in autumn for the year to come. The sessions which take place every Wednesday from 1545 to 1715 hours are open to the public and are also announced in the local press. Participation in the round table lectures and colloquia of the faculty of social sciences at the University of Konstanz is desired and will be attested in the course book of physicians in speciality training.
